Our national network of medical specialists and rehab clinics provide Independent Medical Evaluations / (IME) and Functional Abilities Evaluations (FAE) for employers and insurers who seek a better understanding of their employees' or plan members' status with respect to a disability or protracted absence from work. The goal of an IME or FAE is to help determine the best course of action to take when a person is not working due to injury or illness.
CompreMed has extensive experience providing the highest quality in third party Medical Assessments, Functional Ability Evaluations and Diagnostic services. We guide and inform our clients throughout the entire IME/FAE process to ensure that the objectives of the referral are met. Our Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) are experts at dealing with all parties involved in the assessment process, including those having an assessment, medical providers and, of course, our clients. Our CSRs keep everyone well informed every step of the way and ensure they are receiving the highest level of service.
Our clients include large national insurance companies, government agencies, large corporations and small businesses across Canada. Our reputation in the industry is excellent because we offer:
We also have the ability to customize our processes and documentation to meet our client's particular reporting needs or protocols.
CompreMed's medical and rehab specialists are the best in the business! Over the past eighteen years we have built a large community of the best medical and rehab specialists across Canada who have been subjected to our rigorous and empirical quality assurance protocol. Our network of providers represents a full spectrum of specialties and subspecialties and if we don't have exactly what you are looking for where you need it, we'll do our best to find it - and we usually do.
All CompreMed IME and FAE reports go through a Peer Review Quality Assurance process conducted by professionals that is empirical and provides an aggregated view of a given provider's performance.
We are determined that our medical providers be truly independent and medically objective so that our clients receive unbiased opinions. To ensure this, none of our providers are given retainers and providers are selected for a particular referral based on their peer evaluation scores, their suitability for a particular specialty, their experience, their availability and their fees. Our provider selection process will stand up to any legal scrutiny.
We regularly check and update providers’ profiles to ensure they are in good standing with their professional college or governing body.
CompreMed strives for excellence in every service we provide, as we operate within (and uphold) the guidelines of the Canada Health Act and Provincial Healthcare Regulations.
